Why does Yahoo Mail ALWAYS crash my Safari (and other Yahoo

Postby SUIYUAN » Tue Nov 03, 2009 6:40 am

Whenever I go to check my Yahoo mail on Safari, I get the spinning beach ball of death, and then Safari closes.

I also can't click on certain stuff in Yahoo!Answers—I just get "Safari can't open the page. For instance, I can't click on anyone's avatars, and I can't even link to the longer list of my own questions ("more questions...")

So, I've tried using Yahoo in Firefox, but I often get a message that says it's having trouble loading certain scripts, and do I want to "Stop scripts" or "Continue." If I stop, I don't always get the page. If I continue, sometimes it work, sometimes Firefox gets so locked up I have to reboot my computer to get it to force quit.

Yeah, that's a lot. Thanks for reading and for any help you can give me.

Oh yeah, I'm on a Mac PowerBook. It's about five years old, and I could probably look for upgrades of Firefox (I think I'm up to date on Safari), but I'm not sure if that would fix it. It's all just so annoying. Why couldn't I be rich enough to buy a new computer every year?

Maybe you need more memory for your computer or a faster internet connection would help.

It happened to me too. All I did was update my addons and updated my browser. If this will not work try to uninstall the browser and re install it afterwards.
