How do I change the startup options on my mac?

Postby xcxndd66 » Thu Nov 12, 2009 9:28 am

When I turn my mac on almost all the applications open automatically - mail, skype, word and firefox.
How can I change it so that only Firefox opens automatically?
Thanks!

Go to the Apple Menu and choose System Preferences. Choose "Accounts" and select your profile on the left. Click on the Login Items tab and you will see items that are scheduled to open on Startup. Just uncheck/check the items you want and they will behave properly on Startup.
