Installing from a CD. It completely freezes on a blank "installer alert" early in the process. I've rebooted several times, cleared the cache, emptied trash, repaired disk permissions, and tried in vain to find the answer on any Adobe help sites or forums. Plus I spent an hour on hold to Adobe before giving up.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sounds like a bad disk or Leopard is not compatible with it. Some of Adobe's software was not stable on Snow Leopard, go to Adobe and look for an update, and make sure your mac is up to date too.
