December 2009 I bought a Magic Mouse.

Battery consumption has been a little disappointing so far, but that aside, over the past couple of days (and only over the past 2-3 days), the connection drops out randomly and I have a few moments (maybe even a minute or more) clicking frustratedly and waving Magic Mouse in the general area of the computer until it picks up the connection again. Batteries are new so that isn't a problem.

Any ideas?

Got mine just yesterday and no problems. Not perfect but ok.

Seems to have settled for me now.

There was a long period when it kept going off-line, but recently it's been ok. Just a blip I guess.
