Offer to pay them to be your playmates.

The normal way is to visit the myspace page of a person or band and click on the sign that says "add to friends"
If they agree then within a short time check your friends list and you'll see them there. It is polite to then send them a note of thanks for including you in their circle of friends.
Makes no difference if you're on a Mac.
